Infiniti said its QX55 crossover coupe is going to start at $46,500 when it goes on sale in April. There are three trim levels, Luxe, Essential, and Sensory. In addition to the standard equipment mentioned above, Luxe models have standard a power-sliding tinted glass moonroof, heated front seats, active-noise cancellation, and a suite of active safety features including forward-emergency braking with pedestrian detection, rear automatic braking, predictive forward-collision warning, high beam assist, lane-departure warning, blind-spot warning, and rear cross-traffic alert.
The Essential trim, starting at $51,600, builds on the Luxe trim, adding navigation, leather-appointed perforated seats, climate-controlled front seats, an around-view monitor with moving-object detection, a heated steering wheel, and Bose premium audio with 16 speakers.
At $57,050, the top-of-the-line Sensory trim includes everything mentioned and adds semi-aniline leather-appointed seats, natural open-pore wood accents, three-zone automatic climate control, motion-activated liftgate, and ambient lighting.
All QX55s use the 2.0-liter turbo four producing 268 hp and 280 lb-ft of torque and a continuously-variable transmission.
Infiniti says the QX55’s arrival begins a “product overhaul” with a new three-row QX60 coming later this year and, Infiniti says, “several new products on the horizon.”
