Mahindra recalls around 600 units due to contaminated fuel

Mahindra has recalled around 600 diesel vehicles manufactured at the Nashik factory for premature wear caused by contaminated fuel.

The affected cars were manufactured at the factory between June 21 and July 2, 2021. It is said that during this time, the factory had received contaminated fuel, which is suspected to cause wear on certain diesel engine parts.

Mahindra will carry out an inspection of the affected vehicles and fix the issue free of cost. The company will be contacting the owners individually.

Mahindra has not disclosed the models that have been affected by this recall.
