MG is likely to offer the CVT with the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine only.
MG introduced the updated Hector in India last month. Now, we have been told that the SUV is likely to get a CVT automatic variant soon.
The Hector CVT could be launched as early as next week. Curiously, the Hector will continue to be offered with the DCT, which we found to be quite mediocre and we hope that the CVT is more competent. We’re pretty sure it will be butter-smooth though, as all CVTs are.
Moreover, MG is likely to offer the CVT with the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine only. This motor produces 141 BHP and 250 Nm.
