While the listing does state the supercar as ‘salvage’, it is said that the car can still be driven.
A Salvage-titled 2020 Ferrari 488 Pista has been listed for auction on Copart. Although the Italian supercar has been severely damaged in a crash, it has managed to attract bids of over a quarter-million dollars.
According to the listing, the salvage-titled Ferrari 488 Pista has an estimated retail value of over US$ 490,000. While the listing does state the supercar as ‘salvage’, it is said that the car can still be driven.
Most of the damage is on the rear and will need quite a number of parts replaced, over and above the US$ 274,000 bid it has already acquired. The damaged parts include the rear bumper, tailgate, diffusers, side body panels and tail lights. The car can be seen with some damage on the front wheel arches as well.
The Ferrari 488 Pista is powered by a 3.9-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine producing 710 BHP which is paired with an automatic transmission sending power to the rear wheels.
