Hero MotoCorp has taken the wraps off the all-new Karizma XMR. The bike is available at an introductory price of Rs 1.73 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Karizma XMR is powered by a 210cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine that makes 25.15 BHP @ 9,250 rpm and 20.4 Nm @ 7,250 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox via a slip-and-assist clutch.

The Karizma XMR is based on a new chassis suspended by a conventional telescopic fork at the front and a 6-step adjustable monoshock at the rear. Braking is handled by a single petal-type disc and a disc brake at the rear, supported by dual-channel ABS. The bike rides on 17-inch alloy wheels.

Speaking of the design, the Karizma XMR does feature a striking look, especially in the yellow launch colour. The bike has a sporty fairing just like its predecessor. It has a stylish LED headlamp, an adjustable windscreen and a narrow tail section with a split seat.

The bike is equipped with a digital instrument console offering Bluetooth connectivity and features like turn-by-turn navigation and SMS and call notifications.
