Hero MotoCorp has received 13,688 bookings for its recently launched Karizma XMR. Dealer dispatches have begun, and customer deliveries are expected to commence in November.<\/p>\n
The Karizma XMR is Hero\u2019s flagship offering. It was launched in August at an introductory price of Rs 1.73 lakh (ex-showroom).<\/p>\n
The Karizma XMR is powered by a 210cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine that makes 25.15 BHP @ 9,250 rpm and 20.4 Nm @ 7,250 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox via a slip-and-assist clutch.<\/p>\n
The Karizma XMR is based on a new chassis suspended by a conventional telescopic fork at the front and a 6-step adjustable monoshock at the rear. Braking is handled by a single petal-type disc at the front and a disc brake at the rear, supported by dual-channel ABS.<\/p>\n
