Back in July, Hyundai launched the Exter at an introductory price of Rs 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The carmaker has now increased the prices of the sub-4 meter crossover by up to Rs 16,000.<\/p>\n
The Hyundai Exter is available in five variants. While the prices of the base EX MT and SX (O) Connect AMT remain unchanged, all other variants have gotten expensive. The top-spec SX (O) Connect AMT Dual Tone gets a nominal hike of Rs 5,000, while the SX (O) Connect MT Dual Tone receives the highest price revision of Rs 16,000. Prices of all other variants have gone up by Rs 10,400.<\/p>\n
Powering the Hyundai Exter is a 1.2-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine producing 83 BHP and 114 Nm when running on petrol. With CNG, the power drops to 69 BHP and 95.2 Nm. The petrol version of the SUV comes with the choice of either a 5-speed manual gearbox or an AMT, while the CNG variant gets the manual transmission as standard.<\/p>\n
