Drivers can shrink the size of their vehicles when parking in tight spaces by pressing just one button, according to a leading expert.

Holding down a button on a car’s key fob could fold in car wing mirrors which can be a lifesaver when trying to park.

Tim Alcock, spokesperson for LeaseCar.UK claims the method is a “practical” way to park in busy areas like cities.

To activate the setting, drivers just simply hold down the lock button on their key fob but some modern models may automatically fold mirrors when a car is stopped.

Mr Alcock told Express.co.uk: “Some modern cars allow the driver to fold wing mirrors in, from standing outside their vehicle.
